The newcomer A debut start with the national team. Somewhat sloppy on the ball however his whipped deliveries posed a danger. An effective tempo-setter for the manager to utilize against defensive opponents. Shown a yellow for a poorly timed challenge. 6

The midfielder Set-pieces on corner kicks and set-plays were dangerous. Had room to drift on the left but was offside upon receiving in shooting positions. Granted a merited rest around the 60-minute point. 6

Jude Bellingham Played in an advanced spot on the right and also put in dirty work. Displayed flashes of quality and mishit an effort over. Replaced late on for Rogers, his rival, following a yellow card. 7

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's clearest opportunity in the opening period, his effort well saved by the Albanian keeper. With Quansah hanging back, it fell to him to stretch the play out wide yet his deliveries from wide areas were inconsistent. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. Six

Harry Kane The decisive figure with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes for his country. The opener a trademark close-range tap-in and his next a classy finish with his head having drifted away from his marker. At 32, he’s only getting better with the national team stand a real opportunity next summer with him up top. Eight

Eberechi Eze Found it tough to influence play on the left flank. Had a decent opportunity following a pass from a teammate yet the keeper made the save. His replacement made much more of influence when substituted. 5
