Liam Neeson has provided his narration to a recent film that challenges the efficacy of vaccinations and praises former government figure RFK Jr.
Named "Plague of Corruption," the film is inspired by a popular book written by a disgraced researcher, who became famous during the health crisis for allegations that Covid was a result of a bad strain of the influenza shot.
Her writing partner, the executive producer, has penned books with conspiracy-prone figure Alex Jones. The producer recently posted celebrating Neeson's role in the project.
A spokesperson for the actor have released a statement strongly denying claims that he supports anti-immunization beliefs.
"Everyone can recognize that corruption might be present within the medical sector, but that should never be equated to opposition to vaccines," the comment reads. "He never has been, and is not, against vaccines. His considerable work with the global charity underscores his enduring support for public-health initiatives."
It continued that the actor had no hand in the project's editorial content and that inquiries about its content ought to go to the producers.
According to the documentary, the voiceover read by Neeson makes several controversial statements:
The documentary further cites a 2004 BBC documentary about HIV drug testing on children, which was later the focus of a formal apology by the broadcaster for violations of guidelines.
Recently, Kennedy called on the national health agency to change its longstanding position that there is no causal relationship between immunizations and autism. This claim is echoed in the documentary, contrary to a recent study from the global health body confirming no such link has been found.
Standing in contrast to the documentary's narrative, Neeson has previously shown strong support for vaccines in his capacity as a charity ambassador.
Previously, he called vaccines as "a remarkable human success story," noting that "The debate about vaccines in lately has lost sight of how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in history."
The documentary concludes with Neeson's narration saying, "This is not the end of our narrative. Rather, it is the dawn of a new chapter."
