Six Suspects Apprehended Following €12 Million Armed Raid on Precious Metals Facility in France

A defendant facing charges opened fire in a courtroom in the Albanian capital, Tirana, on the start of the week, fatally wounding the presiding judge and injuring two other people, as stated by law enforcement.
The gunman fled the scene but was later arrested.
The court official the presiding judge was fired upon inside the courtroom by a 30-year-old suspect with the identifying letters E. Sh., according to police.
Kalaja died while being taken to a hospital.
The gunman also shot two other people present at the court proceedings, police said.
Their wounds were not life-threatening.
Authorities have yet to disclose information about the possible reason or the nature of the case being presided over.
The court docket found on the court’s website mentioned a real estate matter.
Law enforcement subsequently detained the suspect and also located a revolver alleged to have been used.
Following comprehensive court reforms initiated several years ago with support from the European Union and United States, a multitude of legal proceedings in Albania have been delayed for years.
